In the July/August issue we learn about New Albany resident Marcie Keithly-Roth. In 1978, Marcie was a 22-year old, divorced, single mom who had re-located to Pennsylvania. While juggling a full-time job, college classes, and parenting her then three-year old daugher, Marcie became pregnant. Fear, lack of resources, and an inadequate support system led Marcie to the painful choice of relinquishing her newborn daughter for adoption. Learn how this life changing choice has now given Marcie the passion to change adoption laws in Indiana and beyond.
